After the Flood’21

On the 14th of july 2021, Belgium experienced an extraordinary summer day. It was marked by extreme rainfall, particularly affecting High-Belgium. Countless streets and communities in the Vesdre Valley were severely flooded.

The photo series captures the poignant scenes documented after the 2021 flood disaster in Belgium, where Wendy Leyten sensitively depicted the aftermath of the catastrophe.
